We Finally Did It!
Remember this cutie and his crazy hair:

Oh those golden locks are gone...and the road getting there wasn't easy. He cried for me. I wanted to cry for the golden locks. But I kept snapping away and that helped take my mind off the hair falling to the floor. This was hard. Not only for him but for me too. I feel like I took his childhood away. He no longer looks like "my baby Nate." He looks older and I don't know how I feel about that. Maybe we've rushed him into being a "big boy." Will he ever forgive us?

Well... today we said goodbye to this:
Sigh...it had to be done!

Yesterday Lincoln and I fought over the Stanley Cup and whether or not his new boots were TOMS.
So what about the TOMS? I put his new TOMS on him today and he refused to wear them because he told me they weren't TOMS.
My reply "Look I wouldn't lie to you these are TOMS"
Lincoln: "No these aren't TOMS I show you my TOMS. I want to wear my TOMS" (he was referring to his other boots).
Me: "Lincoln they're TOMS, trust me they are! I wouldn't lie to you! Look they say TOMS, T-O-M-S, TOMS! Just put them on!"
He did!
And responded by saying, "I like my new TOMS." Phew!
Stanley Cup Incident:
Later that day Lincoln was playing hockey, scored and won! He then said, "Mom I now have the Stanley Cup?"
Me: "Yes Lincoln one day you could win the Stanley Cup!"
Lincoln: "No mom I want the Stanley Cup now! You have it?"
Me: "No Lincoln I don't have the Stanley Cup!"
Lincoln: "Yes you do! I want it! I don't like you no more, don't talk to me."
OK the little dude has big dreams and I was sad to say I couldn't present him with the Stanley Cup! One day little buddy, one day!

I HAD to Share!
I just had to share this blog: http://lickthebowlgood.blogspot.com/2010/01/buttery-banana-bun-bonanza.html
I'll apologize in advance. The food looks absolutely amazingly delicious! I gain weight just looking at the pictures! I haven't made anything yet...mainly because I just don't know which recipe to choose first! I want to try EVERYTHING!!!!! And I also know I'll be the ONLY one eating it (or Kevin won't get to it fast enough because I've devoured it all).
A must on my list:
-Buttery Banana Bun Bonaza
-Summer on a Stick (yes I know it's fall but they look delicious)
-Breakfast in a Cup
-Eggs Benny
-Sticky Bun Pumpkin Muffins
-Meyer Lemon Lime Bars
-Banana Pudding Pie
I could probably go on FOREVER but I'll stop here, mainly because I'm drooling!

My 3D Baby!
Today was our 3D/4D ultrasound day. I have to say I was a little anxious about it! Mainly because this time we didn't want to find out the sex of the baby and with all the ultrasounds I've been having I was worried this would be the one that would reveal our babies gender! And I'll just let it be known now...we DO NOT know the gender of the baby! I'm being completely honest this time! And of course I was anxious and the ultrasound machine refused to work and I layed there for 45 minutes while she tried time and time again to get the darn thing to work. And all I kep thinking was "don't put the wand near the baby's legs!" and "baby don't roll over and reveal your goods!" It all worked out in the end and we finally got to see our precious little one! I've always loved doing the 3D ultrasound. And I don't think it takes away the surprise of what your baby looks like because with both boys I never thought they looked anything like their 3D photo's. At first I thought this one looked like a boy...and then I thought girl and now after going through all of them I'm still thinking boy! I think the bottom picture looks like a girl but then when I compare it to the picture of Lincoln I think boy! I guess we'll just have to wait and see:-) And a fun little fact...both our boys had hair at their 3D ultrasound and this one right now is bald!
